Adirondack Trust Company Community Fund
4th Annual “An Evening of Autumn of Giving”
Wednesday, October 19 from 6-8:30pm at Longfellows

The Community Fund was developed in 2009 to serve as a perpetual philanthropic avenue in Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties.  The “Autumn of Giving Campaign” occurs during October and the Adirondack Trust Company matches all donations made, with 100% of the funds donated benefiting local charities.  In 2013, the Advisory Committee decided to host an annual event and the inaugural “An Evening of Autumn of Giving” was held.  For a very affordable $25 per ticket, guests can enjoy a celebratory evening while they savor scrumptious Longfellows’ hors d’oeuvres, partake in a cash bar, listen to brief presentations from past grant recipients and mingle with the anticipated 150 attendees.

The first year of the Community Fund, there were 8 grant requests; this year there are 43.  The fund benefits the Lend-A-Hand Program and approximately 78 grants have been bestowed to various non-profit agencies in the four years since the event’s inception, totaling about $160,000.  A variety of community agencies such as the Franklin Community Center, Saratoga Bridges, Ben Osborne Memorial Fund and the Wilton Wildlife Preserve, have benefited from this philanthropic endowment. Non-profit agencies are able to apply for grants from April 1-September 30.  Decisions are made in early November and recipients are awarded in December.  Through the generosity of donations in 2015, $44,600 was raised and the Adirondack Trust Company matched those funds, totaling $89,200.  You can view 2015 Grant Recipients and how donations were utilized to help them at

In addition, as part of the overall campaign, 17 local business partners offer special promotions and events during October, which you can view at
