Saratoga Arts’ Annual Soiree
Tuesday, November 1, 2016, 5:30pm – 8:30pm
The Soiree is the annual celebration of the mission of Saratoga Arts and is their sole fundraiser. This year the 5th Community Arts Leadership Award will be presented to Dee Sarno, former Executive Director of Saratoga Arts. The evening will also feature the gypsy jazz of Hot Club Saratoga, light fare provided by Longfellows, a cash bar and a silent auction including vacation packages and unique works of art. Tickets may be purchased at http://www.saratoga-arts.org/civicrm/event/register?id=785&reset=1
The Saratoga Arts, celebrating it’s 30th year, has over 700 members. They are operated by a Board of Directors, seven staff members, a multitude of teachers and outside contractors and more than 200 volunteers. Their mission is to “enrich the region by cultivating a vibrant arts community and ensuring that the arts are accessible to all.” This is achieved through exhibitions, classes, workshops, performances, a grant program and hosting First Night Saratoga. Information on this year’s New Year’s celebration is available at http://saratoga-arts.org/firstnight. A benefit to becoming a member of Saratoga Arts is their Members Exhibition held in November and December. Members are able to exhibit one piece of original work in the Arts Center Gallery. If you’re interested in becoming a member, you can do so at http://saratoga-arts.org/joinnow
We hope you can join us Tuesday at Longfellows.
